?? SPECIAL PRESENTATION: The Lancaster Bomber Restoration We’re pleased to welcome Don Christopher for a special presentation on Windsor’s historic Avro Lancaster bomber. After serving more than 40 years as a memorial in Jackson Park, Lancaster FM212 is now being carefully restored by the Canadian Aviation Museum and the dedicated Lancaster crew. One of only 17 surviving Lancasters in the world - just two of which are still airworthy - this aircraft is being restored to airworthy standards, though it will remain grounded. This is a rare opportunity to hear the story behind the restoration and the legacy of one of Canada’s most iconic wartime aircraft. Join us for a fascinating behind-the-scenes look at this remarkable project. Everyone is welcome to attend. Reservations are required, as space is limited. Please RSVP to: kayla.emery@thewindsorclub.com or via the member portal to reserve your spot. |
